I’m Pregnant, now what?
Wow – congratulations! You are PREGNANT! You are expecting a baby. You are GROWING A BABY inside of you! That’s got to be the most exciting experience ever. And of course you want to remember it. Document every aspect of it.
So how do we do that? What do maternity pictures entail? How do we do them? Why do we do them? And where do we do them?
My body is so changed, I don’t think I want pregnancy photos!
Listen, I hear you, and I totally understand. Your body is changing and growing. There are aches, pains and probably some swelling. It’s not the body you’re used to.
But guess what, it’s even better than it used to be. It’s growing a baby! Your baby. And you deserve to treat yourself to an exceptional experience where you allow yourself to get pampered, loved and treated like the queen you are.
Even if you may not feel like yourself right now, in a few months, once you are feeding your new baby, you’ll miss this time.
Trust me, I’ve heard it so many times from new moms. They miss that big ol’ belly. And they love that they have pregnancy pictures to look back on to remember.
Ok, let’s do this, what are my options for maternity photos in San Diego?
You’re in luck. San Diego is such a beautiful and versatile city with so many backdrops to offer. Want to do your maternity pictures on the beach? No worries, there’s both Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Windansea, Coronado and even Carlsbad State Beach available for photography, among just a few options for beach maternity photos.
Or, if a beach setting isn’t your jam, let’s hit up one of the many awesome trails that are everywhere in San Diego. Mission Trails is one of my favorite locations, with it’s many trails and mountain views it provides a beautiful setting for some open field, romantic and boho inspired maternity portraits.
