When pregnant, there are so many things you need to try to plan for. At the same time, it’s almost impossible to plan anything as babies tend to have a mind of their own.

However, I usually say that the best time for a maternity session is between 26 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage, your belly is beautifully round, and you are still able to move comfortably. However, every pregnancy is different, and some women may prefer to schedule their maternity session earlier or later.

As a San Diego maternity photographer, I am happy to work with you to find the best time for your session based on your individual needs and preferences. I offer both studio and outdoor sessions, and I am committed to creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of my clients. But fair warning, a maternity session is a bit of a work out, so don’t wait too late in your pregnancy to do your pictures as it might be a little uncomfortable then.
