San Diego Outdoor Milestone Pictures

Well, instead of planning our Grand Opening Event for our La Mesa Photography Studio, we were forced to close down for almost 3 months due to Covid. Talk about throwing a wrench in our plans. Luckily, I have the BEST families and they were all so understanding and able to be flexible with their sessions. Like this 9 month session at Mission Trails ended up being more around 10 months vs 9 months, but that’s totally ok. You just got to roll with the punches so to speak.

It has been absolutley amazing going back to shooting again, despite having to get used to shooting with a mask on the entire time. And as you can tell, this blog post is WAY overdue because I have been crazy busy with shooting. I’m not complaining though, this is what I love doing.

This little dude was my first guy back once we were allowed to shoot again. He is just the cutest little guy that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing since his newborn session. And this time around, his older brother tagged along for some pictures for his 4th birthday!!

I absolutely love how these outdoor milestone pictures at Mission Trails turned out. Mission Trails is one of my favorite spots for Family Pictures in San Diego. The versatility of backdrops just makes the entire park a great spot to explore for more family memories. My favorite spots in Mission Trails to take pictures is right next to the Visitor Center or over by the Old Mission Dam. Depending on the session, both locations offers options both close to parking (like with younger kids you don’t want to walk too far) or offers up a nice hiking for a little more open field views.
