Cake Smash Pictures Outdoors

Ya’ll, I think my new favorite thing are OUTDOOR CAKE SMASH PICTURES!! I mean come on, how adorable are these one year portraits at Mission Trails Regional Park? Yes, it gets a little messy with the cake, and the grass, and the dirt, but that’s what so fun and cute about it.

And how can you NOT say awwwwwww to that face and those gorgeous eyes? I’m so happy Alina and her dads came back to me for her one year cake smash pictures. I shot her newborn pictures at our old San Diego Studio a year ago and it’s crazy to think how fast time has flown by.

Alina wore a few different outfits from our Client Closet, including a stunning romper by Olive & Evie and our floral romper for her cake smash session by George & Annie. The spring blooms were in full bloom during this cake smash session and they looked so beautiful next to Alina and her dads. And if you know me you know I have a love affair with all things bridges, or leading lines, so this bride at Mission Trails is one of my favorite spots to take pictures at.

And while our Portrait Studio in La Mesa is open again, I sure hope I get to do some more outdoor cake smash pictures again in the future because it was so much fun!
