I’ve never been shy about saying how I feel about maternity pictures – I FRICKIN LOVE THEM!!! Seriously, they are some of my favorite portraits to capture here in San Diego, or anywhere for that matter. There is something so special about watching a mom-to-be, excitedly showcase her belly and enjoying her pregnancy.

At first I didn’t want to do maternity photos, but Johanna convinced me that I would regret it if I didn’t. And boy was she right. Looking back at it I was so self couscous and concerned with how my body didn’t look like my own.
