Maternity Pictures at Sunset Cliffs, La Jolla

Sunset Cliffs in La Jolla is one of those iconic spots in San Diego that everyone has to go to at least once when in town. It’s extremely popular for photographers in San Diego, CA and is usually littered with people at any time. Oddly enough, I’ve never actually shot at Sunset Cliffs before. How crazy is that?!

But when Jacqueline and I were chatting about her maternity pictures she new she wanted her maternity session to be at Sunset Cliffs in La Jolla. She loves the cliffs, the ocean and the views in the area. And who am I to say now to that?

Now, ever since moving to San Diego I think I can count on my hands the times I’ve had to check the weather for San Diego, and even less times that I’ve had to reschedule a session because of weather. So imagine my face and worry when the week leading up to this session was plagued with rain, rain and more rain. But I guess the weather gods were on our side this day. Because the day turned out to be PERFECTION!! Perfect amount of sun, blue skies and clouds.

These maternity pictures at Sunset Cliffs are some of my favorite ones. I love the blue dress that Jacqueline brought with her and my brand new black maternity dress from Chicaboo. They both lent themselves perfectly for these pictures and the cliffs.
