Maternity & Newborn Photos in San Diego
As I’m about to blog this newborn session I realized I never blogged the parent’s maternity pictures at Sunset Cliffs! How crazy is that, especially with how gorgeous this session was. So guess what, you’ll get a double header post today.
First out is the maternity photos we took at Sunset Cliffs right before everything shut down due to Covid. It was insanely busy because most offices had already closed, but somehow we still managed to get amazing looking pregnancy photos at Sunset Cliffs with no people in the background. Mom borrowed one of our popular Chicaboo dresses from our Maternity Closet. This black dress is such a gorgeous dress and so flattering to showcase that pregnant belly.
Mom also opted for a colorful option with our purple strapless dress which makes for stunning toss photos. Both dresses looked absolutely amazing with the ocean backdrop at Sunset Cliffs.

San Diego Newborn Photos with Dog
If you’ve been following me for a while you would know by now how much I LOVE dogs. And I especially love it when clients bring their dogs to their sessions. Being a dog friendly photography studio in San Diego, I always encourage my clients to bring their fur babies with them for their sessions. Little Moxie got to tag along both to the maternity photos as Sunset Cliffs, and came to the Newborn Pictures in our San Diego Studio as well. It was everything I could’ve asked for.
She did so well and the images of baby and dog turned out so stunning. I love being a newborn photographer, and I love it even more when I get to photograph babies AND dogs at the same time!
