Wrapped Newborn Photos | San Diego Newborn Pictures
As much as I adore naked newborn photos, I love when parents choose wrapped newborn photos as well. They’re perfect for parents who want something simple and timeless. And for parents who may not want to spend several hours at the session. Wrapped newborn photos lend themselves well for prop shots and are ideal for fussy babies. Some babies tend to sleep better when wrapped up. They find comfort in the snugness and you get these peaceful, beautiful newborn pictures as a result.
Mom and dad of this little guy wanted some neutral-colored newborn photos. The cream, brown, and white wraps and blankets looked so good for this little guy. Towards the end, we put him in this knitted cream outfit and he was having a blast moving around and sticking his tongue out at us. Isn’t he just gorgeous?
Newborn Pictures in Props | Wrapped Newborn Photos
The best part of Wrapped Newborn Photos is that it’s super easy to transition from one prop to another. This newborn bed and this little heart bowl are two of my favorite go to props. They’re simple, cute, clean, and work for every baby. Just look at how peaceful this little guy is sleeping in either prop. Also, can we just talk about how awesome this black, star-filled backdrop from Hello Little Props is? Not every parent is brave enough for a black backdrop. But I love when parents want something different. And when using lighter props and wraps, even a black backdrop will look airy and nice.
Neutral Basket Prop | Wrapped Newborn Photos |
Last but not least, we used this amazing neutral basket from The Original Photo Props. It’s such a versatile little basket and there are so many ways you can use it during a session. And can we also talk about how CUTE this little bear setup is? This Bear is a hand-felted bear from a small business located in Ukraine. When I first found Mimi for Baby on Instagram I knew I had to have one of these felted animals as a prop. It’s just adorable and every parent LOVE it when I use it.
