The yearly Pride Celebration looked a little different this year. Big groups of people together celebrating wasn’t a great idea, but that didn’t stop us from celebrating anyway. Together with these amazing families and with TBD Designs we celebrated Pride with these amazing Pride Inspired Mini Sessions.
Ya’ll, I think my new favorite thing are OUTDOOR CAKE SMASH PICTURES!! I mean come on, how adorable are these one year portraits at Mission Trails? Yes, it gets a little messy with the cake, and the grass, and the dirt, but that’s what so fun and cute about it.
Well, instead of planning our Grand Opening Event for our La Mesa Photography Studio, we were forced to close down for almost 3 months due to Covid. Talk about throwing a wrench in our plans. Luckily, I have the BEST families and they were all so understanding and able to be flexible with their sessions. Like this 9 month session at Mission Trails ended up being more around 10 months vs 9 months, but that’s totally ok. You just got to roll with the punches so to speak.

A couple of weeks ago I had the immense pleasure of meeting up with Aly and her family at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar Resort to capture some beautiful family pictures. They spent Valentine’s Day weekend there for a family vacation, or family staycation, and I feel so lucky I got to experience this gorgeous resort by their side for a couple of hours.
